Yep, sun out, nice day, mail comes, "when it rains it pours". My primary doctor will no longer accept Medicare patients without up front pay of office visit. They will bill Medicare who will then reimburse me when they get around to it. The doc's don't want to wait for it or mess with their rules any more.
So you see it isn't just the govt. sticking it to the seniors, it's the doctor's. Mine is not going to be happy when I tell him I will not make every 3 months diabetic visit that he has always wanted. And right now maybe until we settle probate he won't see me at all! (don't bother to blame Obama)
Probate will probably start next week. Well the filing will. Due to the heirship issue there will have to be an ad litum attorney also hired. Then we need to have 2 people to tell him Scott was our son and he wasn't married.I didn't cry once. I did get a runny nose because the building is so old I could smell the mold.
Wil is off to the local Chase to see if he can get the information they told him on the phone he could get at any Chase with proof of death. Then he will go get some boxes so we can at least pack son's clothes. Joel told us if we didn't think any of the beneficieries would contest our giving them away to go ahead and do that.
We can put everything else into safe storage until Probate. Special papers need to come from the mortgage holders to release us. No idea how Wil plans on getting the motorcycle here to sell.
I'm concerned about Kahinah. She was out all day yesterday and we had trouble getting her in so I dropped a towel over her on Wil's shoulder. When she is on your shoulder you can't use the step up command. When she was on her cage and I told her to step up, she did, then she took off. Scott had learned to place his thumb across her feet but she even figured that out.But what really concerns me is her breast has more feathers 'up' so I hope she is not plucking and is only moulting. Plucking is done due to stress. Lord knows the bird has enough to be stressed about! Not only that she bites Wil's finger when he gets her to step up. First time she drew blood, not second time. I told him they do what is called 'beaking' to feel things. The hard part is not making a fuss as that is how they learn to bully bite. Just now she got my lip. I put her back on her cage, she flew back and is chewing on my shirt. Not too comfy with her that close to my face. She has destroyed her Fischer Price toy, only has a couple rings now.
I just dumped her blocks but she didn't come investigate, she flew back on her cage, making every sound she knows. :-)
Well let's see if I know how to send this up. Don't even know if Halo is still working but you know the email addy. :-)
