Doctor real happy with A1c yesterday. 6.4 (3 mo's ago 7.8)

check it out See the green vertical guys?  Yep I won one last evening. They play more at night after I sign off, so I did see their comments until this morning. Usually they head for the diagnoal which is hard for me to see even with dots.

I don't like using the dots as it is extra work and I quit when all of a sudden Firefox wouldn't let me copy and paste and I had to go to IE.

This is the only game I play and I like it because it reminds me of tic tac toe.  A game I used to be able to win just about all the time.

I have to figure out why my sinus are keeping me from sleeping in bed at night. I spent the night propped up in the corner of the couch, which isn't good for my back.  I took a Sudafed around 1 a.m. and it didn't unstuff my head. Guess I will try the air purifier in the bedroom.

7:51 a.m.  Breakfast and coffee done. Took the cup and the book "Maybe (Maybe not) by Robert Fulghum and headed for the swing. There is a slight breeze so I sat down on the swing without taking time to spray my body. After all I had filled feeders and no mosquitoes got me.  Well that turned out to be a dumb decision!

Fulghum speaks in one chapter about your name, and all the names tagged on you by others.  Yes my given name was Bonita Louise McBroom, but I was always called Bonnie as a child.  Then in about the 7th grade Floyd started calling me 'broomstick'.  Yes I used to be skinny.  Ninth grade found Hugh calling me 'turnpike' (no curves). I was lucky neither boy spoke to me that often so neither name stuck. Since coming on the internet I have picked up the tag "Bon Bon".  Other than that I have no long list through life of names. I have no grandchildren, so those tags are out.  I used to insist children call me Mrs. B since they couldn't say our last name and I don't belileve in children calling elders by their first name.  Like many parents give that a second thought now days.

My mom once wanted to call me Bonnie Lou and I wouldn't hear of it!  Don't like my middle name and I didn't care she had an Aunt named Lou. :-)  My sister Nancy picked up the nickname of Pickles in school as she loved to eat them.  Doubt anyone calls her that now.

8:31 a.m. Just got off the phone with mom. She doesn't wear teeth any more and her voice is so gravely she is hard to hear.  She seemed to be more with it, sort of, she recognized me I think.  I asked if she remembered Scott, she plainly said yes, so I told her he had died. Her tone reflected she understood but of course one never knows.  Her mind is to far gone for her to grieve so I felt it was safe to tell her.  Her caregiver confirmed younger sister she always recognizes.  Here all these years I thought Mike was her favorite. Guess not. :-)

Well Apple pest called. They are going to give another try at that area of weeds. I got news for them, this is the last time. They aren't doing it for free but it is still more than I care to plunk down forever. Everyone else around here has weeds for a lawn, so I guess we will join them.  I need to figure out what we are going to do for grass along the fence near the back feeder.  If I throw grass seed the birds will dine. lol

Off to get my shoes and get ready to go get our Will's notarized. Tomorrow we head to Austin so Rod can get his washer/dryer and Wil can cut grass and I can trim around his sign, plus get all items to garage to come back. (I'm wondering if one person reading my blog realizes this is Scott's house, not ours? comment made me think she thought we were selling our house. )   Probably be my last trip then.
