Mom and Justin her Great Grandson at her Great Granddaughter's wedding.Cousin Dawn's children sure got the curly hair from somewhere. :-)
My sister wasn't kidding when she said mom has lost a lot of weight. Those are old glasses she is wearing because she lost her good ones. They searched that house high and low and couldn't find them.
That's an old sweater mom is wearing. She had old slacks on too. She refused to wear a dress and she has some nice ones. She's also lost so much weight her shoes don't fit and she won't get new ones.
You may remember her with earrings. I always remember her dressing so nicely.
She was a pickle when they went to exam her eyes this week. She didn't want to hold her head still for the pressure check. She's not up to being patient in the waiting room either. Sounds like she has become so childish. She is legally blind in the right eye and if she loses the left what will happen with her living alone?
This afternoon after I got up off the floor from dusting the bottom of
the TV stand we went out to look for a new one. This one is so old the bottom
shelf is falling apart and a leg is coming off the shelf.First store, no luck, high prices for compressed cardboard. Headed off and popped into Oak Express. The part in orange is all we got, except it has two doors in the middle and we can use glass instead of the wood. The side doors hold shelves for DVD's.
Now we will have a stand big enough if Wil does save up for a flat screen he keeps dreaming about. That cardboard TV just wouldn't do. lol
Problem with this is a bit bigger than our living room has the space for. Will have to move one plant at least.
Next on the agenda is $350 to remove both of the trees in the back yard. That doesn't include hauling them off either.
Up to check my sugar, shoot cottage cheese for supper.
