I've had this for awhile and decided today I best use it. Sums up how I feel when I look in a mirror. lol
Aging gracefully, where the blazes did that phrase ever come from!
Need to finish here and get back in the living room to dusting. Perhaps Wil can go set up the Communion stuff. He knows how and it really doesn't take two people.
Then again I could go along just to look at all the green grass instead of brown. Don't think I'd want to live in Arizona.
We got this in the ground before all the rain. Now I learn we are to have rain for the next 7 days. Of course had I left it in the pot it would of had wet feet too so maybe it is better in the ground.
Wil thought it was funny that I put the stones around it. Well when I stumble out in the dark to fill feeders I don't want to trip over it.
Plus the way our grass is growing I want Tony to have clear vision when he mows. lol
It was comical yesterday when I went and covered the aloe vera with the sheets and it poured down rain so out I went in the drizzle to lift the wet sheets off of them. I was afraid the weight would break the plant. Got to do that twice. But hey the plants are a beautiful green this morning.
I was surprised once to find a pigeon huddled under the Mt. Laurel in the rain. I felt sorry for it and gave it some corn to munch on.
Got one end of the living room dusted, curtains washed and hung to heck with the iron. I'm the only one who will notice. While daughter was on the phone I suggested we could pay her to do the dusting for me. She said no. She remembered having to dust when she was young and now I have many more knick knacks. She suggested we should maybe hire someone to come do it at least monthly.
A parent can't help but wonder what the heck they did wrong when their kid does something like this. I can remember when Wil held down two jobs just to make ends meet when they were young. sigh
Yep I got this in an email. If I recall the woman died of cancer, but I'm not sure. What I found of interest is she died on the same day she was born.
Under the words our mom it says "Her humor lives on". On close up it looks like a real parking meter too. When I get down low enough here I'll put a close up of its settings.
If I knew enough html...
Wish I hadn't thrown the email away, but one can't know for sure if the facts are correct in those forwards.
Clever way to leave your mark in the world.
