love it I called yesterday when it was due. They were behind it probably would be Mon. or Tues. Then about 4 p.m. the answer machine picked up the message it was ready. By then we were hot and tired from the run to Councilwoman's office where she had a scheduling conflict so we were left to talk to poor Andrew who has dealt with this for a year.

Andrew was impressed with the print out of the situation we supplied him. The idea of format was the brain child of our out of work daughter.

So this morning I ate breakfast, grabbed a tortilla left from a MOW meal and headed to Slick park to photograph the 'work crew' and feed Daisy.

While there I saw an injured cat crying for food, it didn't know what to do with the fish a lady left for it. It came right up to her hand. I'd consider going over and sitting on a rock with cat food, but we know my physical condition don't we?  So I took a picture and emailed it to the volunteer coordinator of ACS.

The work crew never appeared, I hobbled back out and home to rest before we went off for the picture. I need to load the original in Kodak and get a print for Pat who graciously sent it to me.

This is the hall wall. No glass on this so don't want it in birds room for bird dander to get on it. That frame is so bright and cheery and I can stand in the kitchen and look down the hall at this. If I had energy maybe I could spill some tears of joy.

moving right along I had my camera with me as we headed out the dreaded Bandera Rd. This shot through the windshield, hence the dash grate in it. lol

This project is going to remove congestion on this road they think. Folks will be able to zip right up these overhead ramps to the loop. Also come off the loop using them.

I wonder what the fuel costs are costing the workers and their big equipment?

hard job I keep wondering when we pass under this road if the digging here is compromising the road way above us. Granted when we are ever on the road above I don't even think about it. :-)

Like my antenna ball there? They fade so badly here. It is a wonder the paper mouth and eyes ever last, but with little rain I guess it is no problem.

As we traveled I was snapping shots and thinking of composing an entry entitled "Come ride along". Can't quite think how to do it and right now I'm not in the mood. We got the word on TV last night that our route to Austin is blocked for this weekend. The Texas Dept. of road de-construction has blocked one long section just before our exit. Add to that there are Commencement exercises going on up there and I'm not in the mood for exhaust fumes and long waits.

Yeah I was looking forward to son's barbeque and visiting him and his little companion. But hey that is life.

Well off to upload some pictures to Flickr and Kodak. And yes I lost the auction at eBay. I won't go over $10.50. So I bid on the same kind another place with the NY RR on it. I'll lose it too. :-) Hey Sasha tell Travis to look along a rail line for insulators when they stop somewhere. rotfl
