Mother's Day 2008
2:27 p.m. 82 degrees, humidity 19%
dew point 37 degrees.

Yesterday while our high was only 98, a record, the heat factor was 104! Give you two guesses where Wil was. Outside in the backyard pruning trees he knew a month ago were going to have to be out for curbside pickup. I can't blame him for just procrastinating as I had enough doctor's appointments that he drove me two, and Meals On Wheels extra days were added. (but yes time did go by that... well you know). lol

Today I called mom and chatted with her. Friend Lydia called me and wished me a "Happy Mommy Day", I'm her second Mommy she says. lol Son says next weekend maybe we can come to the barbecue he planned.

Last night I watched Princess Diaries on TV and today I dug out my VHS of Princess Diaries 2. OK I'm a sap but I liked these Disney movies. I waited for credits to see the second version, and probably the first were filmed in Los Angeles! I wonder if aerial views weren't in England though.

Well I lost the insulator with the PA embossing but I got the one with the NY railroad embossing. lol Wil said I didn't know you bid on it. I said I figured I'd lose it too. I didn't.

Got this in an email and thought I'd share in case you didn't. I know I shouldn't laugh.

Would you like to make a little extra money?

hustle not you bear

and then

where did he go? I see you

round and round

uh oh ring around the rosie

I wonder how many time he'll have to run around that truck before the bear gives up? Or, more importantly, I wonder if the bear will EVER give up?

Do you think the guy taking the pictures is laughing?

Sure wish I know how this turned out!

btw thanks to Ava the email on yesterday's page is now corrected. Never said I was awake or alert. ;-)

Never heard what anyone thought of the frame I chose for the picture.
