9:14 a.m. 75 degrees, to get to the 90's. (again)
I was over in a folder to delete pictures and decided while I may have
missed the hummingbird this gives you a shot how nice the view is. All until
the summer sun turns the grass brown.I was out this morning watering some. Just to get the newer grass established was the goal. Ended up doing almost the entire back yard. I'm so afraid of letting it go like the year we did and we ended up having to replace that entire side.
Wil has to device a way to secure the blocks in that bed as one section fell over. That is the shrub that was in a pot and the pot cracked and had to be removed. We didn't know what to do with all that above the ground.
Sunday's barbeque in Austin was nice. First I ever ate grilled banana's. He used the recipe's from his Redneck Cookbook that daughter gave him.
He asked after dinner (lunch-whatever you call it)if he would be considered a lousy host if he bathed Layla. He does it the day she gets her heart worm pill. So that picture is over on Flickr. :-)
This bench he was telling us is not concrete. Sure looks it. Expensive
enough to be.He sat down on it one day and heard a crack. He'd had it a week. The leg came up through the bottom. It is still safe to sit on.
He dragged his receipt out and it wasn't on it! He saw her scan it. He had a whole bunch of stuff so didn't realize it didn't scan. Apparently they didn't either. Since it was defective and he would of taken it back for a refund he figured what the heck, he'll use it.

The car ride left me exhausted. I couldn't wait to get that boot off. Today I will wear shoes to the pool. Messing with that thing has left my back in a heck of a mess. :-(
I notice I wasn't clear on last post. That was Pookie in the picture with the frap. Buster is the little white face cockatiel and we didn't get a shot of him eating the whipped cream off the spoon.
Fascinates me over there on flickr how many views that picture and Chandler laying on the magazine got. The most comments to Chan too.
Oh son was not impressed with mom's painting. I'd sent the picture before framing. So someday I suppose someone will buy the picture for the frame.
