My New Wild Life Previews on Animal Planet on Sunday!

Life at Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation (WRR) in Kendalia, Texas. is the subject of Animal Planet's 13-episode series, My New Wild Life, which will preview with two episodes on Sunday, May 25 and June 1, 2008, at 6:00 a.m. Central (7:00 a.m. Eastern/Pacific). This series takes a close look at wildlife, their too-often debilitating encounters with humans, and the compassionate people who nurse them back to health.
New Interns Kirsten and Jordan experienced the joys and sorrows of caring for wild and domesticated animals at the WRR sanctuary. During their 8-week tenure, they learned to feed orphaned infant mammals, care for primates in sanctuary, and tend to the farmed animals in the Do No Harm Farm. The new interns learned firsthand what it truly takes to be an animal caretaker.

That's a show I don't want to miss. I've never been to Lynne's places when she left the city and I was no longer on the Animal Control Advisory Board.

I feel like crap this morning. Indigestion to beat the band. Let's see if a bowl of cereal will tamp it down some. Seems like when my stomach is empty in the morning it gets touchy. I suppose the Prevacid has worn off by then.

Chandler wanted out at 4:15 a.m.! We let him out because we want no accidents any where. It worries me some having door cracked opened and the other one unlocked. The lock on the garage inside door hasn't worked for years. Since it is a hollow door and could be easily breeched we haven't tried a new knob. The outer door is metal so when it is closed it would be harder to breech.

No coffee for me this morning. :-( Told Wil I think the Activa yogurt doesn't agree with me. I had some yesterday and my stomach has rumbled since.

Pool things are packed. I will wear shoes there but once back home the splint goes back on. I have a lump on the top of my foot I swear has gotten harder and is oh so tender to touch. I guess that is what Dr. Varnes is watching.

Call yesterday afternoon, appt. today was moved to June. News last night had a story about the stimulator. Is that a trend treatment?

Ava mentioned the motorcycle fascination. We rode a Honda but Wil always wanted a Harley until the company was sold to AMC. Now that it is back to the Harley folks I think he'd still like one. I reminded him he has to have clear hearing to safely ride. Of course I would never be able to ride again either. It's fun to look while in the store. They were polite though they knew we were only shirt shopping.

Got several posters done last night, but they will lay on the table until June 6th. Shel has no storage. I pulled some alphabet sheets out only to discover after 10 years the sticky is gone. I have to cut them out to glue them on! Not only that I had no good glue sticks. The ones from the dollar store were dry from day one and I can't figure out why I hadn't tossed them. Maybe I thought I'd add water to see if they could be salvaged. Doubt it.

Well I need to move my lazy backside. I will code the guestbook since Halo is acting fruity again.
