Also fighting with composer now. I wanted the line above right under the date. It refuses to cooperate and I don't feel like searching through the code to figure it out.
3 a.m. I was awakened with horrible left leg and foot cramps. I had already tossed the night splint aside thinking it the cause. Of course when I got up to walk it off Chan got up. And he wouldn't settle down so I tossed him in the garage.
A note here to anon. yesterday. I do understand your comment point, don't understand your need to be anon. Go back and read what Sasha said. She knew where I was coming from. Children old enough to behave and don't are a reason older folks choose the early service. Older folks also have trouble hearing and it is distracting when kids around you misbehave. One of the Easter services was totally ruined with misbehaving teens for me as well as the poor ladies stuck beside them. Church was packed, no where else to sit.
God also understands the old and infirm's needs.
Xrays were taken of my foot yesterday. Dr. Varanes was absolutely shocked I did not come in when the conditioner bottle fell on my foot. I told him I figured it was just soft tissue damage. He thinks it may be a stress fracture and slapped me in a fracture boot until a bone scan can be done.
I was so shocked I didn't think to ask if the scan that requires injection of radioactive dye was the only kind of Xray available. Wouldn't a CAT scan of the foot do it? Whatever he is the doctor. So next Wednesday I need to find out if daughter could let us wait at her house for the three hour interval. It's closer.
I've learned this morning it will be better to let Wil put the splint on. Too much bending over for me. I'm trying to figure out how I am going to do it at the pool today. Can't find the plastic bag to put it in while at pool.
Tomorrow's walkthru of Slick Park with city staff is sure going to be slow, and instead of my stick I think the cane in the closet will be put to use. At least it didn't rain yesterday so the surface will be dry.
Wil had to take Chan for his appt. by himself of course. Doc called the results to us as Wil didn't wish to cool his heels for 30 minutes. Doc said there is a slight rise in his thyroid count but not enough to increase the med dosage. They are still baffled why Chan does so well on the low dosage. They may try that with others, except a pill would be hard to cut to that amount. This medicine can cause kidney failure.
Time out for cereal and I know Pook will wake up when he hears kitchen noises. Though Wil is eating his cereal and he isn't up.
8:05 indeed he woke up but Wil was finished with his cereal so I could get mine. Chan's laying outside the back door so we have to make sure doors for him to return are not fully open to air condition the outside.
Daughter called last night. She and brother wondered about us going up there for Mother's Day. That's fine with me, I just hope Lydia is available to check on Chan at suppertime. Too bad he can't go along. That's just too long for crating him when he isn't used to it. Sure can't let him run loose in the car.
I got an email from Misti asking for a picture of my mother or female that meant the most in my life to put on the board she is making for Mother's Day. Only one I have of mom she is with dad on their anniv.
OK took time out to find a small one. Bet they know whose mom it is without anything to identify it.
Got stuff to get at here.
